Nein, daß Mappack wird nicht entschärft.
Und an PCGames, doch bitte in Zukunft die "Quellen" mal etwas genauer anschauen und nicht nur die Postings von andern übernehmen. Auf fast jeder Unreal/Newsseite findet man diese Falschinformation zum Mappack.

Und wenn man sich den Text nunmal genauer Übersetzt, so wird man sehen, daß Steve über den Patch 2168 schreibt. Dieser mußte aus zwei Gründen gemacht werden:
a) Er war Vorraussetzung für neue Funktionen des Bonuspacks
b) UT2003 mußte auf Deutschen Rechnern entschärft werden um zu verhindern das die BPJM das Game eventuell auf den Index setzt. Und wer den Patch mal getestet hat, der wird gemerkt haben das man auf Deutschen Windows Systemen nur mit einem andern Trick als den in der INI UT2003 wieder im ungeschnittenen Zustand hatte.
Zurück zu Steve: Danach mußte dann der Patch 2199 (Wo man übrigens auf Deustchen Rechnern wieder ein ungeschnittenes Game hat) gemacht werden um Serverprobleme durch 2168 zu beheben.
Und da es sich nur um eine kleine Firma handelt, konnte nicht mit "maximaler" Leistung am Bonuspack weitergearbeitet werden, sondern nur mit einigen wenigen.
