ROCKSTAR LINCOLN - LANGUAGE TESTERS WANTED
Rockstar Lincoln, Rockstar's dedicated quality assurance and localisation studio located in the East Midlands of England, is looking for language testers to help test the foreign language versions of our titles.
The job involves testing our games before they are released, checking the translations, and providing feedback and input where necessary. You will be required to play through games, checking for grammar, spelling and contextual issues within the translated text. With this is mind, you should work well under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail. Also, an ability to prepare reports in well-written and concise English is essential as you will be required to communicate potentially complex issues to games developers.
Successful applicants will be expected to have excellent levels of written and verbal English, as well as at least one other of the following languages - French, German, Italian or Spanish.
Applicants would ideally be good at playing games with an analytical mind and a good eye for detail. Successful applicants will be working on PS2, PSP, Xbox, PC and future, "Next Generation" consoles.

- dann sieht es etwas besser aus mit ~21000 €. Bei den Lebenshaltungskosten in GB dennoch kein Argument.

Habe vor dem Bewerbungsgespräch natürlich besonders mündlich nochmal ordentlich drangeklotzt, aber eigentlich auch nur ne Woche. Hatte weiterhin ein FCE vorzuweisen, aber auch nur mit B bestanden. Es ist nicht hart, vorbereiten und Mühe geben sollte man sich aber natürlich. Ihr solltet Berichte klar und angemessen detailliert abfassen können, und natürlich nicht nur im Stande sein, den deutschen Screentext zu verstehen. In der deutschen Sprache solltet ihr natürlich stark sein
