13K PCU Barrier broken
Sunday, August 14th at 20:33:00, EVE Online broke the 13,000 Peak Concurrent User (PCU) barrier when 13.422 players were on at the same time. This record is the latest in a series of PCU records following EVE's latest expansion - EVE Online: Cold War Edition.
To our knowledge this is a world record for the largest number of users sharing a persistent virtual world, where no sharding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shard or instancing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instance_dungeon is used.
