Der Frühling steht vor der Tür und mit ihm ein lang erwartetes Release für Galactic Conquest. Wer einen Blick auf die neuesten Dateien in unserer Download-Datenbank geworfen hat, der hat es bereits gestern Abend gesehen, für alle anderen hier noch einmal der Hinweis: nach mehr als einem halben Jahr Entwicklungszeit haben Django und HC83 ihr Custom Mappack veröffentlicht. Enthalten sind eine ganze Reihe bekannter Custom Maps, die von Bugs befreit und noch einmal komplett überarbeitet wurden.

Tipps und Tricks

Eine vollständige Übersicht der enthaltenen Karten haben wir im Download hinterlegt. Dort finden sich zu jedem Level auch ein paar spezielle Tipps und Tricks sowie allgemeine Hilfestellungen zu den Themen Fahrzeuge, Raumschiffe und Kits. Wer einen (fast) vollständigen Überblick der Entwicklung haben möchte, kann zudem im Forum vorbeischauen. Dort findet sich ein eigener Thread zum Mappack, in dem auch gefundene Fehler gemeldet werden können.

Erster Spielabend am Sonntag

Um die Veröffentlichung gebührend zu feiern, ist für diesen Sonntag ein kleiner Spielabend auf dem GFG-Server geplant. Sollten sich hier genügend Spieler zum Antesten treffen, ist der Dreh von Ingame-Videos geplant. Wer mitspielen möchte, muss vor dem Mappack Galactic Conquest v0.5 und den Patch auf Version 0.53 installieren. Fragen zum Spielabend und zur Installation können ebenfalls im Forum gestellt werden.
